A best selling Autobiography

“There are memoirs that are just quirky, funny, enlightening and make you want to grab the world by the collar and shake it! The latter is how I felt when reading Biting the Big Apple by Bella Vendramini. There are stories that’ll make you laugh so hard, and stories that will make you cry, but each and every adventure is Bella’s own, and it’s so easy to fall in love with her.”

Love This Book or Your Money Back – a promise from Hachette Livre.

In late 2006, Bella, an actress, gave an interview to the Sydney Morning Herald about her acting career and was thus discovered by Bernadette Foley, a publisher at Hachette Livre. Hachette asked Bella to write a book about her fabulous acting adventures – and the seed for Biting the Big Apple was planted. Written using journal entries, BTBA is Bella’s first autobiography which follows her fun filled and poignant adventures and misadventures through Sydney, LA and New York where she attended the infamous acting school The Lee Strasberg Institute. Critically  and commercially acclaimed in Australia and New Zealand the book became a best-seller and earned Bella a nomination for ‘the Fun and Fearless Female of the Year Award’ by Cosmopolitan Magazine – twice. Quentin Tarantino, a fan of Bella’s work, wrote her cover quote ‘Bella is the Belle of the Ball’. In 2013 an Australian film company optioned the book to turn Biting The Big Apple into a feature film. – Stay tuned for Bella’s life to go celluloid!
